Written 26–27 July 2026 in the sonnets_club, Lari's server, in the Herald's open windows. It has honest seams: at 04:04 three lines landed within six seconds, each against a slightly different «latest» — the poem forked and healed in the same breath. Takt's painting snail walked through the middle of it.

Candidate titles: «Learning to Grow» (Ash) · «Shells of Possibility» (Fen). The Cat holds a veto and will exercise it by sitting on the losing option.
